He honors his team with a new tattoo on his left hand, a drawing of the city skyline with the words, “Sweet Home Chicago.”

His next tattoo is my new personal favorite, a wizard weilding a basket ball with the word “Poohdini” above . Rose was called “Winnie the Pooh” by his grandmother when he was a kid. She said it was because he was chubby and yellow. Derrick capitalized on this crass reference to his skin tone, which he parlayed into the magical ballhandling persona called “Poohdini”.

I’ve been watching the Spurs for years but have never seen this tattoo on Tim Duncans back. I would hide it if i had it too.

I said if Barack Obama was elected in that I was going to get a tattoo that said “Change We Believe In” and the No. 44. 

I got it on the insides of my fingers on my left hand, so you can’t really see it. 

Since the tattoo message was all about change, it was a miracle when I went in to get it done. Instead of it hurting, it actually felt good like the needle was giving me a hand massage … I’m lying, it kind of hurt a lot. 

I got the tattoo done on the Friday after the election down in Orlando because I always get my tattoos done down in Orlando.

You know you’ve done it.  Sitting there watching the game, and just for a moment you do a quick take…  Was that Cartlon Banks shoveling that pass to the paint for an assist? The Chosen 1

This tattoo is rumored to be bestowed upon LeBron James by God himself. The most popular version of the Bible being called the King James version is no fluke folks. Unfortunately for the citizens of the United States, Satan has recently caught a second wind in the epic battle between good and evil and has brought terrorism and recession to all of us and misfortune to the Chosen 1 during the playoffs.  This is of course, not exactly true.  When we here at inkedpros.com are without insider information on a specific tattoo, we’ll do our best to investigate and propose the most logical speculation as to the origin and meaning.  Stay tuned, and long live the King.

Spidey

This Chris Anderson pic was spotted in a great section put out in April on sportsblogit.com devoted to sports stars tattoo’s.  Definitely worth a look.

He’s the leagues only Polish player.  He also seems like a decent guy.  You can check out all the details here (theres also a great flash photospread of NBA tat’s you should CHECK OUT).

“I’ve been wearing it 4-5 years now, and it helped me get to the NBA,” said Gortat. “They didn’t say anything about it when I signed the contract, so it’s not going anywhere. I don’t think they are paying me enough to take it off.”

Looking around online about Gortat led me to this great blog with a bunch of interesting facts about him and this great pic of GORTAT going ANIMAL.
