Hearing Orlando Magics’ back-up center Marcin Gortat’s side of the story in his battle with his shoe sponsor Reebok over the prominent showing of his Jordan/Nike logo tattoo during Game 1 of the NBA Finals is what brings him into our world today.
He’s the leagues only Polish player. He also seems like a decent guy. You can check out all the details here (theres also a great flash photospread of NBA tat’s you should CHECK OUT).
“I’ve been wearing it 4-5 years now, and it helped me get to the NBA,” said Gortat. “They didn’t say anything about it when I signed the contract, so it’s not going anywhere. I don’t think they are paying me enough to take it off.”
